"Intrepid Ann"

Winner "Harley Babe" award. European HOG Tour 2005
While touring Europe on rented bikes, Ann's Heritage developed mechanical trouble. This was a HOG tour which included a chase van with a spare bike. It was a V-Rod, a bike Ann had never ridden before and we were in the middle of the Alps. Below the picture is a funny little poem "Intrepid Ann" written by one of the riders about the experience.

"Intrepid Ann"

Tales turn into legends
ever wonder how.
If you listen carefully I will tell you now.

There was a Newfie name of Ann
A Harley rider she.
Round twists and turns and ups and downs
She rode along with glee.

But then her bike it did expire
And by the road dumped Ann.
Was she afeared, no, not a bit.
She hailed down "White Van Man".

I need your bike that you got hid.
This Newfie said to Fred.
I can't give the bike I've got.
Please take Sue, instead.

But Annie, she was not put off
and rolled the V Rod out.
She fired it up and out she shot
Before old Fred could shout.
So now you know how tales just end
and legends come about.
